Acquisition and a new city centre base for MLP Law as firm looks ahead

Altrincham-headquartered business law firm MLP Law has announced a new Manchester city centre base, alongside the acquisition of a commercial solicitors practice, as it looks to future growth.

The firm will launch a new branch at Peters House, Oxford Street on 1 September, offering a city centre base to its existing team of 25. It has also completed on a deal to acquire Tebbitts & Co Solicitors, based in Crewe and Warrington. Max Tebbitts joins MLP Law as a partner in the commercial IP and litigation team, further strengthening its offer in this area.

The new Manchester office will be used by team members from across the north west as a base for work and meetings. The firm operates a flexible hybrid working policy, with team members able to choose which location they work from office or home based depending on their requirements. MLP has offices in Altrincham, Lymm and Leeds, as well as the new city centre base.
